Alpaca made its debut in Golf circles in the 1950's. Embraced by golfing professionals for lightness and ease of motion, alpaca made a name for its self! Professionals of the day had special requirements for their golf sweaters. They wanted more fabric for a less restrictive fit, sometimes referred to as the floppy cardigan or just "alpaca".

Most of our custom colored sweaters are made to order and will take 8-12 weeks to manufacture. They run just a bit more expensive due to the custom color; standard stock colors are $169.99.
